I just hope they don't lose Ellsbury to do it...I think that would be a mistake.

it is going to be Buckholtz or Lester in the fifth spot and wake coming out of the bullpen|||As a Yankees fan I've got to admit that's a great rotation if the do acquire santana. We all know that the yankees doesnt like being outplayed in the market or even in anything by their rivals. The Yankees will make a move and counter the Santana trade to the Red Sox if it does take place. Yankees have set their sights to A's Ace Dan Haren who's 2 years younger has potential to win the Cy Young Award and a potential 20 game winner. Reports have come that A's does have interest on the offer that yankees offered the Twins but Oakland trying to land a 3rd player like Austin Jackson or prolly a different mid level prospect. Red Sox have the best rotation if they do land Santana but u can argue that Yankees could have the best rotation if they land Dan Haren.

If this turns out to be the starting rotation next year i cant way for a Bo Sox Yankees Showdown with those pitchers. I'll take either rotations anytime. Red Sox have the best rotation if they do land Santana but if the yankees land Haren you can argue which rotation is better|||If the red sox aquire santana they could possibly have one of the best ever , it all depends on the unproven players, dice k would have to prove he can be consistent because right now he isn't. bucholtz would have to prove that he can pitch ,one start(no hitter) at that is a good start but we really don't no what he can do. schilling he's got it during the post season but can can he keep it going the whole season to get us there. But if he does go down we got wake for a fill in who last year had back problems but if he doesn't have have to pitch only a limited starts he could benifit and so could the sox, with that my friend the sox could have the best ever and if not we have one of the best pens in the league.... GO SOX.
