What are the chanced of Santana staying with the Twins?

He's pissed at the team AND basically a superhero. I love him so much and I was there a few days ago when he pitched his amazing 17 strikeout game. I really wish he would stay with Minnesota, but I don't know if that's likely to happen. What do you think?|||Slim to none, the Twins cannot afford to keep a player who will receive $20+ million in the free market. He would almost make up 1/3-1/2 of the payrole. This would be like the A's paying Zito a top free-agent salary. It just can't be done. I'm sorry but he belongs to the Yankees next season.

Damn Yankees.|||Unfortunately it's not likely. In order to keep him they will have to get free agents or make some trades to compete. If he doesn't believe they will be able to compete he won't stay. However, if they make the decision to obtain the necessary players they won't be able to afford him. So basically he will replace Andy Pettite in the Yankees rotation once Andy retires. So all the Yankee haters should be prepared to get all upset yet again.|||he good but hes goin to the mets honey|||zero absolutly nothing they cant afford him. Teams interested would be Yankees, Mets, Angels, Cubs, and maybe the Mariners|||I'd say after the way he talked about management, he won't sign an extension.|||Highly doubtful. He's the face of their franchise but they wont do much of anything to make their team a serious contender. Hopefully he'll come to the Mets, that would be awesome.|||....very slim, I see him with the Mets or the Dodgers!!!|||The Chances of Santana staying with the Twins is very low because the organization has not shown a willingness to re-sign their key veterans. The same fate will probably happen with Torii Hunter since he is a free agent after the year. The Twins will probably look for a less expensive free agent to replace Santana.|||i would say not very likely because when the twins traded away castillo to the mets he questioned the organization desire to win in the press. i would say hes going to a big market team who has the chance to win it all. possibly la angels|||the chances are near zero, just hearing the way he blasted managment for their lack of making moves to be a contender shows when contract comes up he isnt going to even talk to him. all honestly i would bet the yankees will be hot for him and ready to throw him lots of money|||The Twins need to keep him. He is the leader of the team and without him, the Twins are nothing. Silva, Bonser, Garza and Baker all look up to Santana and always pitch a good game after Santana pitches a good game.|||Santana is my favorite player too! I don't think he will stay, the Twins don't have a good enough team to keep him. He'll probably go to the Yankees, which I like, or the Angels, and maybe any other team who has a chance to win it all. Let's hope he comes to the hometown Blue Jays! Or the Diamondbacks!|||The same chance as Sabathia staying with the Tribe. Slim to none. To many teams willing to pay whatever it takes to try and win. If they leave, I wish them the same fate as Barry Zito :D GO TRIBE !!!
